What GENM Publishes

GENM publishes historical viewers of U.S. Treasury data. Each viewer shows figures the U.S. Department of the Treasury has already published, such as total public debt and Treasury yields, for past record dates.

Source Data

Figures on GENM come from data published by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, including Debt to the Penny and Treasury's published yield and rate data. Each page shows its source and record date. Treasury may revise its data after publication, and GENM does not independently verify Treasury's figures.

Historical Data Only

GENM viewers show what Treasury has already reported. They are not predictive. Past patterns may not repeat.

How Values Are Shown

Figures are shown as Treasury published them. Where a page shows a comparison or a change across record dates, the page states the dates it covers. Comparisons are for historical reference only. Association, not causation.

Data Limits

Treasury data is subject to revision, reporting lags and Treasury's publication schedule. When a live update is unavailable, a page may show the last Treasury data saved in the reader's browser, together with its record date.
